These Terms and Conditions (T&C) apply to the use of the web application "skanvio" (hereinafter "Service"), operated by MQTec GmbH, Otto-Hesse-Str. 19 T1, 64293 Darmstadt (hereinafter "Provider"). By registering and using the Service, the user accepts these T&C.
The Provider offers an AI-powered web application for damage documentation of rental vehicles. The Service includes the creation of photo scans, AI-based damage analysis, and the generation of evidence reports.
The contract is formed through the registration of the user and the confirmation of registration by the Provider. The user must be at least 18 years old and provide truthful information.
The Provider endeavors to maintain a service availability of 99.5% on an annual average. Excluded from this are times of planned maintenance and disruptions outside the Provider’s control. The AI-powered analysis represents an automated assessment and does not replace professional damage evaluation.
Current prices are available on the website. All prices include the applicable value-added tax. Payment is processed through the payment service provider Stripe. Purchased scan credits are valid for 12 or 24 months from the date of purchase (depending on the package).
Consumers have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving reasons. The right of withdrawal expires for digital content if the Provider has begun executing the contract after the consumer has expressly agreed.
The Provider is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence. In cases of slight negligence, the Provider is only liable for breaches of essential contractual obligations and limited in amount to foreseeable, contract-typical damages. Scan reports serve documentation purposes and do not constitute a legally binding damage assessment.
The collection and processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection regulations (GDPR).
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. The place of jurisdiction for disputes with merchants is Darmstadt. Should individual provisions of these T&C be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
